Each user of the system must have a password. This is to protect your valuable financial data, sales history, and other data from unauthorized entry. The Password screen allows each user to set their own password. All users must first have been set up in the User Security menu.
Changing Your Password
Log in to Net•Yield with the user name and password assigned by the Net•Yield system administrator. The first time the user name logs into Net•Yield, the password will be the same as the user name. Select the User Password option from the User Setup menu.
1. The message, "Enter New Password" displays. Enter the new user password and press Enter to confirm your entry.
Note: Passwords must be at least four characters long and no longer than six characters. An error message will display if fewer characters are used.
2. The message, "Enter New Password Again" will display. Enter the new password exactly as it was entered in the previous step and press Enter to confirm your entry.
Note: If the new password is not entered exactly the same in Steps 1 and 2, the following message displays, "Password Not Correctly Repeated !!! Space bar to Continue." Press the space bar to continue, and refer back to Step #1.
If you've forgotten your password, the Net•Yield system administrator can reset the user password to the user name in Reset Password.
The user will be prompted to change their password every 90 days. It is recommended, for security purposes, that the password be changed to a new password; however, it is not required.
